Collection, Delivery & Returns

Stock Availability

 

We are working on a reduced team and therefore have a limited amount of stock available each day. We update our stock inventory regularly, so if the product you would like to buy is currently sold out, check back another day. 

 

As the Hjem comfort boxes contain fresh produce and baked goods we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to fulfil your order. Orders must be placed within the same Monday – Thursday period as the week you wish to receive your box. For example, order on a Monday for delivery on Wednesday – Saturday of that week. Order Tuesday for Thursday – Saturday delivery. Last orders can be placed on a Thursday at 3pm for delivery that Saturday.

 

Please do not place orders for delivery slots outside the week you are ordering in. For example, should you wish to receive your Hjem comforts box on June 27th, just in time for your partner’s birthday, you should order no earlier than Monday June 22nd. 

Collection

Please state which day you’d like to collect and your preferred time of collection before adding the item to your basket. We will do our best to ensure it is as close to your preferred collection time as possible. Collection is free and slots will be between 11am and 4pm Wednesday-Saturday.

 

Once your order has been processed you will receive a confirmation email.

We will then text you on the morning of your collection to confirm the 1 hour slot you have been allocated. We'll also let you know your allotted parking space for contactless collection.

 

Please park outside the main door in the allotted parking space and open your boot. If you are running late please let us know by calling 01434 681 232. One of our team members will put your order straight in your boot.

Delivery
 

Our shop products are available delivered to your door. Delivery for anything other than vouchers is available to NE postcodes ONLY. Please state which day you’d like your order delivered before adding the item to your basket. Delivery is charged at a flat rate of £5 to all NE postcodes and we will do our best to ensure we deliver on your chosen day. Delivery slots are between 11am and 6pm, Wednesday - Saturday. 

 

Once your order has been processed you will receive a confirmation email.

We will then text you on the morning of your delivery to confirm the 1 hour slot you have been allocated. To protect everyone's safety, delivery will be contactless and we will leave your package at the door.
 

*Please do not order if you live outside of an NE postcode. Orders placed to non-NE postcodes will be cancelled and refunded minus the transaction processing fee. If the local deliveries are a success we may extend our offering to include national courier delivery. This does not apply to gift voucher purchases which can be delivered UK-wide. 

 

Vouchers will be posted by Royal Mail first class. 

Returns

 

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic we will not accept returns. If you feel there is something missing or not quite right about your order please call us and we will rectify as quickly as possible.
